july First Friday: downtown get down

Downtown First Friday events take place the first Friday of every month from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. January through December. Highlights of these events include shops open late, local artists and musicians, area organizations, and various happenings tied into the theme of the First Friday.

Each First Friday is a celebration of our local community and an opportunity for locals, tourists, and area groups to show their support for our town, have fun, and enjoy the beauty of vibrant, historic downtown Marietta!

Downtown small businesses have begun reopening their doors to the public and many are excited to welcome customers inside their shops and restaurants this First Friday.

Peruse the special events offered during this month’s First Friday below and find a list of businesses that will be open late. While we do our very best to receive as much information as we can from our downtown business community, the list provided below may not be a full list of all businesses that are open. Many restaurants are open for indoor (and outdoor!) dining and some select shops may choose to open their doors last minute.

Venture out for a lovely night in the heart of our community - downtown - and support local!
