From events to decorations and more, our Hometown Holidays Committee is dedicated to bringing the spirit of the holiday season to life for both the general enjoyment of our community and the financial support of our small business community downtown.
Our Holiday Tree Walk was installed for the first time the week of Thanksgiving in 2019. This effort was a labor of love by our Hometown Holidays Committee who, for years, has envisioned a growing, vibrant, and more engaging Hometown Holidays season for both locals and residents to enjoy.
Thanks to the tremendous support of Riverview Credit Union for sponsoring this year’s attraction, Greenleaf Landscapes who delivered and installed the trees, to Marietta Electrical JATC who worked their magic to ensure all decor and trees light vibrantly, to Marietta Noon Lions for decorating the Gazebo and installing the various decorations in the park, to the City of Marietta for providing the space and supporting the utilities, and to the 50 area families, businesses and organizations who adopted and decorated the trees, we as a community can enjoy this attraction throughout the month of December.
FIND MORE INFORMATION ABOUT EACH TREE DETAILED BELOW.
It is thanks to each one of these groups that the Holiday Tree Walk came to life this year. We hope to continue expanding our Tree Walk in future years with the goal of creating a robust, walkable, vibrant walkway of lights along the river trail.
Note: This Guide is intended to share a bit about each tree and to thank our sponsors, but it is not a replacement for physically visiting our Holiday Tree Walk in East Muskingum Park. We encourage you to take a stroll and see each tree for yourself! The magic of the experience cannot be replaced with our Guide.
