A subcommittee of Design, the Public Art Committee focuses solely on uplifting downtown Marietta as an Arts + Culture District. With the development of a strategic plan for public art in the C4 District, Main Street's Public Art Committee focuses on partnering with local artists to uplift original artwork that highlights our unique history. A thriving arts district will not only inspire our community to increase their sense of pride for their hometown, but it will also aid in our vision for a fully walkable, inviting, and thriving downtown. The Public Art Committee meetings every 3rd Thursday of the month at 5:15 p.m. at Marietta Main Street.
