Committee Block Time occurs once a month for each one of Main Street's committees to gather together in one space. This is an opportunity for anyone interested in Main Street to find out what we're all about! We will have a common agenda, meet as a large group, break into small groups to discuss committee items, and then gather together once again to share action steps and make connections as needed across action items. 

All Committee Block Time gatherings will be at Marietta College on the 2nd floor of Andrews Hall in the Great Room. 

Volunteer with Marietta Main Street to beautify downtown Marietta - help hang our flower baskets, clean up the downtown garden beds, sweep the streets, pick up brush, and show our downtown some love!

The Downtown Design Committee exists to position Marietta Main Street as a proactive, supportive agent of downtown beautification efforts, including the preservation of arts & culture, design ordinance review, and support of storefront facade maintenance.

The Operations Committee exists to develop annual fundraising plans, support partnership recruitment and development, oversee the legal soundness of the organization, and work to ensure financial stability, which may include review, preparation, and submission of the annual budget to the Board of Directors for annual approval.

The Marietta Main Street Public Art Committee exists to facilitate the design and creation of public art projects in Downtown Marietta and Harmar Village; through design review, coordination, and funding assistance, the Public Art Committee seeks to uplift local and regional artists, facilitate the creation of unique and special moments in our city, and build upon our community’s creative economy. 

The Business Enhancement Committee exists to support entrepreneurship and small business development, including providing educational resources for business owners, minimizing commercial vacancies, and supporting the growth of our commercial district.
