First Fridays in downtown Marietta, OH are monthly snippets of the best our community has to offer. Our downtown shops are open late, our restaurants feature diverse menus, local musicians and artists are highlighted, and monthly themes offer a variety of unique, fun experiences for our whole community to enjoy.
February's First Friday is Wine & Chocolate Walk! Downtown businesses will feature exclusive specials and promotions uplifting the season of love for all visitors to downtown for this event.
An extra fun layer to this First Friday is the ticketed Wine & Chocolate Walk. Only 100 tickets will be sold to this part of the evening, and they've already sold out.

What: Wit & Whimzy will host local fiction author Brian Bennett for a meet and greet book sale during February’s First Friday. Stop in to meet Brian and purchase inscribed copies of his paperback and hardcover novels. Brian is a Marietta College alumnus and lifelong resident of the Mid-Ohio Valley. Where: Mid-Ohio Valley Players
What: It’s more than a tribute to the legendary country singer who died tragically at age 30 in a plane crash in 1963. The show is based on a true story about Cline's friendship with a fan from Houston named Louise Seger, who befriended the star in a Texas honky-tonk in l961, and continued a correspondence with Cline until her death.
