The 2021 Marietta Ice Show certainly drew a crowd, some downtown business owners sharing this event filled the sidewalks more than they’ve seen in years while others sharing that thanks to shoppers, they had the best sales day since 2019.

But, the ability to support downtown shops and restaurants was just the beginning to a day filled with winter magic; from 16 beautiful, hand-carved ice sculptures to a live sculpture carving to snow dancing down from the sky, the Marietta Ice Show brought friends and family out wearing masks to safely enjoy our downtown and each other in the cold of mid-January.

Thanks to title sponsor Glenwood Community, we are proud to have provided such a well-loved event this year and are already looking forward to the 2022 Marietta Ice Show.

We also owe gratitude to each of our sculpture sponsors, our volunteers for helping to distribute sculptures to various locations, and to Mattressmax for allowing usage of their box truck for the transportation of sculptures.
